15 de September de 2026ABG Intellectual Property has opened a new office in Granada, strengthening its decentralised growth strategy and expanding its presence in Andalusia. The new location becomes the firm's fifth office in Spain, alongside Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia, enabling ABG IP to provide closer support to the region's business, industrial and research community.
The Granada office will be headed by Juan Manuel Soto, PhD in Physics, Spanish Patent and Trademark Attorney and European Patent Attorney, who has been part of the ABG IP team since 2021. Through this new office, the firm aims to support Andalusia's innovation potential and help companies, innovative SMEs and research organisations turn technological developments into new opportunities for investment, business activity and industrial growth.
The opening in Granada forms part of ABG IP's ongoing regional expansion strategy, following the launch of its Bilbao office in 2015 and Valencia office in 2024, further strengthening its commitment to combining technical expertise, proximity to clients and an in-depth understanding of local industrial ecosystems.
